SMS consent and opt-in disclosure
How consent for appointment text messages is collected, what you will receive, and how to stop at any time.
How consent is collected
Consent is collected verbally, during a phone call. When you book an appointment by phone, you are asked in these words:
“We can text you a confirmation now and a reminder the day before. They come from New Day Creative — a couple messages per appointment, standard rates apply, and you can reply STOP anytime. Totally up to you: want me to set that up?”
Consent is recorded only if you agree. If the question is interrupted or never reached, no consent is recorded and no texts are sent — silence is never treated as agreement.
What you will receive
- One appointment confirmation text, sent immediately after the booking call.
- One appointment reminder text, sent the day before your scheduled appointment.
- Occasional messages about changes or cancellations to an appointment you have booked.
These are service messages about your own appointment. They are not marketing, and marketing messages would require separate express consent that is not collected here.
Declining does not affect your appointment
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of booking. If you decline, your appointment is made exactly the same way and you will still receive a confirmation by email if you provide an address.
Frequency, rates, and opting out
Message frequency varies with your appointment activity — generally a confirmation, a reminder, and any messages needed if something changes. Standard message and data rates apply.
